"Bösendorfer Piano Experience"
Forsyth's has a fantastic selection of pianos. I was especially taken by the Bösendorfer Vienna Concert Grand. While the sound and characteristics of various pianos can be quite personal, I believe the Bösendorfer stands out above the rest. A highly skilled member of Forsyth's team showcased the most beautiful, expressive tones that this piano can create when played by the right hands on its stunning keys. Big thanks to the salesperson for that amazing demo.

"Top-notch support from the team"
The customer support here is top-notch. This company operates with a high level of professionalism and has a super friendly crew. I bought some items online, and they arrived in perfect shape, but if you want a truly great time, check out their massive 15,000 sq ft store. It’s gotta be the biggest in the UK, with everything from sheet music to Steinway pianos.

"Typically, they do well..."
Typically, they do well... But, I came across an item that was promoted with a special online discount - £40 off. We ended up not getting the item, and after following up, they eventually said they had emailed us the next day saying the price was incorrect. We never got that email, and when I checked the site now, it shows £40 off a price that’s actually £40 more than anywhere else. Really let down.

"Top-notch, courteous, and speedy service"
I just wanted to express my gratitude for the outstanding and professional help I received recently. Due to a house move, I had to part with my beloved grand piano - a Kawai GE30 AT (originally purchased from Forsyth’s). I made a trip to the store and finally picked out the brand new Kawai K500 upright, which got delivered today: I couldn't be happier with it. Huge thanks to Emma for all her support and quick service.

"Awesome store and team..."
I placed an order for a guitar yesterday, and it arrived today. The service was top-notch; I reached out via phone and online. Super helpful, fantastic price, and I'm really pleased with my guitar. I would totally suggest this shop, plus the guitar was set up nicely too.

"Yamaha Grand Piano Purchase"
The staff here are super helpful and really know their stuff. I was checking out options for a Yamaha silent piano. It came down to either a pre-owned Yamaha C1 with a silent system added or a brand new C1X SH2. Forsyth Music Shop offered great insights, demo videos, and advice that really helped us make our choice. Huge thanks!

"ASSISTANCE WITH SHEET MUSIC"
I've been on the hunt for a specific piece of piano sheet music, and during my quest, I stumbled upon Forsyths Music Shop located in Manchester. On March 14th, I shot them an email with a screenshot of the music I was after. The following day, I received a response letting me know they had found an arrangement similar to what I needed and would place an order for it, keeping me posted on whether it matched my request. Today, I got an email confirming it was indeed the right one and they provided me with ordering options. I placed my order over the phone, and it’s set to be sent out first class today! Just wanted to give a shoutout to them for their fantastic customer service; I’d totally recommend them and will be back for sure. UPDATE: The music has arrived!

It's rare to come across such outstanding customer service like I did yesterday while chatting with one of your team members, Natalie, over the phone. You ought to feel proud to have someone like her in your company, given her courteous demeanor, patience, and keen attention to detail while we discussed the specifics of my recent order. Talking to her was a true pleasure; I could practically hear her smile and laughter! These days, folks are quick to reach out with complaints, but not many take the time to express their appreciation when it’s deserved. You should definitely keep Natalie around and give her the recognition she deserves!

I want to express my gratitude to Paul and Sarah for making my piano selection day so special. After trying out my top four choices, I truly valued their support and patience in guiding me to the best option. Since I couldn't fit a grand piano, I ended up choosing a stunning Schimmel K Series upright. Paul even took the time to give me a thorough tour of how this piano works. Overall, it was a joy to work with fellow musicians and piano lovers. If the setup, delivery, and aftercare are just as excellent, I’ll be one very satisfied customer. I’m pretty sure Forsyth will give me plenty of reasons to smile.

"Fantastic Customer Experience"
I ordered a guitar on December 7, 2020, and to my surprise, it arrived the very next day before noon, all with free shipping! I was really impressed, especially considering it was during the Covid times. The packaging was solid, and the guitar was set up just right—intonation and all that jazz were spot on. It was a bit out of tune when I first opened it, but after I tuned it, it’s been perfect ever since. I can’t recommend their service enough! I even called them for some tips, and the person I spoke to was super friendly and gave me great advice without making me feel rushed. Plus, the price was pretty decent too. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about the whole experience.

Awesome Customer Support!

I was on the hunt for a beginner piano that would keep me satisfied for a good few years. When I reached out for some guidance on my choice, I had a really thorough, detailed, and patient chat.

I had my sights set on the Kawai SE110 (by the way, this model is just fantastic), but I was curious if there were any solid alternatives. They explained why this model is a great pick, discussed the alternatives, and clarified why options are limited during COVID. They even offered to let me preorder an alternative and get it as soon as it arrives from the manufacturer (super nice!). I was also informed about the available shipping options and what to expect if I decided to visit the store during this time, including how they keep both staff and customers safe.

All in all, the customer service was knowledgeable, eager to assist, and straightforward.

They shipped my piano the same day (I placed my order before 1 PM). I got the Kawai piano along with a high-quality stand and a piece of sheet music I had been wanting for a while.

I received updates when the shipment was sent out, and everything showed up the next day. Just a heads up, DPD didn’t send a tracking number (they’ve done that with other orders I’ve made before, so I wasn’t too concerned). The piano and stand were packed by the manufacturer (which was great because it minimized the risk of any mix-ups during transport). The sheet music was tucked inside a sealed envelope within the stand's box.

I know exactly where I’ll be getting my next sheet music from! :D

You really get to know a company when things don’t go as planned! Forsyths treated me exceptionally well. Let’s just say, they’re a company you can count on. They didn’t benefit from my error, but they earned my respect and a promise that I’ll come back to them for my next musical needs!
